Geohot published in yesterday blacksn0w, the tool to unlock (unlock) the iPhone 3G or 3G to firmware 3.1.2 and baseband 05.11.07 using.
The tool also enables the sharing of connection Internet on the iPhone.
How do I unlock / unlock your iPhone?
1-If you have already jailbroken your iPhone with Blackra1n RC1 or RC2:
- On your iPhone, click blackra1n,

- répository Cydia, Add as blackra1n.com Cydia repository,
- Cydia . Blacksn0w download on Cydia.

We must reset your network settings.

It's normal that your wireless does not work anymore after using Blackrain in many cases .. To make it work again:
- Adjustment
- General
- Reset
- Reset Network Settings
- That's it!
For apps, go download it in cydia or snow, the patch. AppSync search and download the version for your OS (3.01 or otherwise, etc.)
I'm not sure whether to install an application via iTunes before installing the patch (App Free, no matter which one)
So the sequence:
- Jailbreak, or other BlackRain
- Install a free or paid app through itunes (maybe optional)
- Add the application via Cydia or Snow Appsynch
- Drag the apps in itunes and sync
