A Cv sauce Web 2.0

By Yohann CIURLIK October 29, 2007, 2:18

Today, web 2.0 sites bloom everywhere! More and more companies are creating such sites for their clients.

I am looking for a training period of study for obtaining my master computer in March 2008 (a wise ...). I am looking for companies in the middle and especially of IT services specializing in web, then, as you can imagine, in the midst of creating curriculum vitae (CV).

Last week (no no I will not tell you all my life, do not worry ...) during the course of job search techniques (sisi it exists!), I thought:

Why not make a cv paper web 2.0?

In the spirit of Vianney Lecroart off I went with my good old photoshop fast creation of resume ... and said a few hours later ...

cv smile design.thumbnail Un Cv à la sauce Web 2.0

click for larger image

The CV above gives the graphics and layout of the website of the : smile.fr . I already have about the company by presenting white papers .

Smile from the recently re- of its site full , I found the idea original enough to make a cv in orange tones of the site.

In this CV

  • Images representing the different categories.
  • A tag cloud shows my strengths.
  • RSS presents a framework my personal information.
  • Highlighting skills (for Web).
  • An orange straight from the site (damn ... copyright ...).

At present, the original CV is less perceived negatively by human resources. They attract the eye and can highlight key points of your personality. A try then ... but not for any company ...

I find the idea very well but firstly I do not know if the word "self" is really appropriate with a resume like yours!
Second, the uniqueness can be a double-edged: either show that you are creative, resourceful and so on. be more displeasing to the point because you often find people uninitiated in front of you (HR, business etc.)

Watch out, therefore,
Good luck for the course
If you have trouble finding an internship, which I doubt, please send me a mail (on the other hand paris)

Croot @: As I said, actually it depends on the company.
Tagged 'Autodidact' is justified in that web development is very little taught in my filiaire and all I could learn on the internet, I learned by myself.

I adhere to death! I find it really great and right in the news.

As an intern at a software house, you prove that you are directly in the subject and you mastering the subject on which you want to work, and that, in my opinion it will give you a weight advantage!

You will keep us informed?

Originality is good, but watch out for spelling and grammar: "I've already talk"! It should be read first!

Do you have tracks for an internship with this great CV?

11
Yohann CIURLIK November 28, 2007 at 20:04

@ FMR: I prepared this CV for a course in technical job search. I did not sent to the company (I was already taken).
I had proposed placement at Cap Gemini, Sopra, Teamlog, Team Partners Solutec, Smile, Sedona, Webnet, ...

I will soon be my little choice ^ ^
