… and yes… you're right on your thoughts about, at first i want with podcast.wydev.es (now http://wycast.wydev.es/feed.xml -> You can add to your webservices….) create a fully compliant wydevice Video Feed, but the stop of developments of wyplay, maked me think to change the scope.

Now we're enjoying helping others to understand their wydevices, and unleash the power inside of them… WymodCP is now php-ajax web control panel, FTP allow users to have greater transfer speeds (up to 3MB/s on a wifi-N Network VS really-slow-official-firmware transfer speed…)…

I'm glad to inform about new firmware release for Wyplayer / Media Titan / ZoltarTV HDTV Players:

wydev-mod-v3.1 it's NOT NEEDED TO EXTRACT HDD Anymore in order to install, corrected installation bugs and extended the usability of the product including, but not just that:

- Web Control Panel
- Samba
- Sislog
- Rsync
- Possible to move a file from a folder to other folder.

As far as i know, these web raised as result of the official development stop announced, it's been powered byhttp://www.wydev.es team, which done a huge effort to create what they calls "the first wydevice friendly podcast". That project bluffed completely with the bluff of the wyplayer and their other clones. I think that they still publishing some videos, but more focused on the development itself rather than a mainstream podcast:http://podcasts.wydev.es

I follow they're progresses on thehttp://foro.wydev.es and they're now working at GUI level. Announced but i can´t find where to download a newer version that they will be able soon to redesign the design of the GUI adding or replacing features, images…. Even they request from people to submit they're images to publish a new skin!!!

Sorry for the long-post but if you don´t know yet what those guys are doing, i suggest you to register and start enjoying your wyplayer as it was supposed to be….e!

Yes, they're leading the alternative firmware for wyplayer, zoltartv and others… They're doing great advantages with it, but wyplay is not helping at all (i think that they should, as they're (wydevelopment members) improving the product so much, but you know what the deal is when business come into play… (…or even when wyplay let's their business don´t make them see the business chances…)

About their jobs, they have improved what they call "wydevices" (the reselled products originally designed by wyplay) in a wide range of areas:

- Added Samba
- Added FTP
- Simplified Installer
- WymodCP (Web Control panel)
- Added power off option plus 3 other reboot options
- Syslog enabled
- Telnet

Donc je le redis, même à 99 euros, c'est une grosse ##### et l'entreprise FRANCAISE qui l'a développé, enfin bidouillé devrais-je dire puisqu'elle n'est capable de le corriger, ne vaut pas mieux, car elle prouve une nouvelle fois que les entreprises françaises n'ont définitivement plus leur place sur ce marché.
